Update:
On March 2, 2007, Julian Smith was taken into custody because of a rules violation as a condition of his release. It is not known when Smith will be released. He is being held in the Fond du Lac County Jail.
Julian E. Smith is being released from prison after serving over 10 years for 1st Degree Sexual Assault of a Child and Possession of Child Pornography.
Smith was convicted of sexually assaulting three young children in 1986 and possession of child pornography in 2005.
Special conditions of Julian E. Smith’s supervised release:
1) No contact with victims, no unsupervised contact with minors, no presence in taverns, bars, or liquor stores, and no use of alcohol or illegal drugs.
2) Comply with all rules of high risk sex offender supervision, and cooperate with electronic monitoring.
3) Face to face contact with law enforcement as required, lifetime registration with Wisconsin Sex Offender Registration Program.
Julian Smith will be living at 457 Thomas Street in the City of Fond du Lac when he is initially released from incarceration on February 20, 2007. This will be a temporary placement. Smith will be required to wear a GPS monitoring bracelet.
